Construction- Reflection- Working progress

Reflection- Working Progress-

During the planning of our film we needed to find out what our target audience was going to be. We found out that woman watch more thriller films than men. This means we need to compose a story which contains story lines that women can relate to. We thought of ideas such as sexy men, love story's, friendship and a situation like a sleepover for the setting. The next figures we had to find were what age range went to see the films. We found out that teenagers are the most likely to go and watch a thriller film so we came up with ideas to attract the younger audience, such as; teenagers in the film, teenage themes and settings where teenagers would recognise. This was quite a simple task as the results were easy to find and as we are teenage girls ourselves we came up with ideas really quickly.

This task is where we were exploring the psychology media. We were finding out why people watch thriller films. The reason behind this research is to adapt our film to the way people watch them. This has helped us structure our film in a way that will appeal to the audience.

As a group we have created reflection blog posts where we are looking back at moments, shots and scenes we have made throughout our filming. It's explaining what shots we have used and why. It also explains the plot in short as well. This was an easy task to do as we just had to explain what we had thought up and filmed.

Our storyboard was a vital piece of planning as it helped us know what order we were having the scenes in. We had to take pictures from the shots and angles we wanted to use in the actual film. It took us a while to get them correct but in the end it was completed successfully. The caption explains what each picture is showing and what is going on in the shot.
Finally the picture on the left displays our blogpost about general work. It explains what other work we have been doing during the filming and planning. The work has been long but we have worked as a team and got all the work done by the due date.
